Many often regard David Bowie as one of the world’s most impactful musicians. And it’s no wonder, amassing 128 singles, 27 studio albums, 11 live albums, and 4 soundtracks. Yet, despite his sad passing in 2016, the iconic songwriter still has one more tune to share with the world for the first time — and as a non-fungible token (NFT).
Quick Takes:
- Gala Music tunes in with Larry Dvoskin and publisher Warner-Chappell Music to launch an unreleased version of David Bowie’s iconic song “Let’s Dance” through a limited NFT series.
- Today, on Just Dance’s 40th birthday, Gala Music is releasing 3,003 NFTs, presenting Bowie-inspired art NFTs and granting access to the unheard track.
- The digital assets are available on a “pay-what-you-want” basis. All proceeds go toward a charity supporting the music community, MusiCares.

Yesterday Gala Music announced it’s collaborating with the music producer Larry Dvoskin and publisher Warner-Chappell Music to launch an unreleased rendition of one of Bowie’s most famous tracks, Let’s Dance, through a limited series of NFTs.
The subsidiary of crypto startup Gala Games shared the good news about going live today:
Today, Gala Music is issuing 3,003 music NFTs on the 40th anniversary of the initial release of Let’s Dance. Subsequently, the NFT collectors can open exclusive access to the track, which Bowie and Dvoskin produced back in 2022. They can also open Bowie-inspired artworks.
According to Dvoskin, the music NFT of the track is a “more dreamy, electronic” rendition of the hit song.
Moreover, the music NFTs are purchasable using a “pay-what-you-want” model. All initial proceeds will also go toward MusiCares — a charity that offers health services to members of the music community.
Although this is not the inaugural appearance of Bowie’s work on Web3, the track presents a phenomenal opportunity for Web3 lovers to indulge in an utterly unparalleled and distinctive experience featuring the legend.
